TOPIC: Concerned about bugs - JEVENTS unsynched

I know that you say now JEVENTS is no longer required, but I tried to use it since the DT Register calendar is not working properly - clicking on an event gives an error - and it does not appear to have the features that JEVENTS supports (month on top, formatting options, etc.). Even though this adds a level of complexity for the user.

That said, I was trying to work through functions / permissions for the various users the site will have involved with registrations. They will have numerous people creating events and handling registrations (who is attending) but not necessarily setting payment terms. It seems to me that anyone who can create an event in DTRegister will out of the box be able to affect payment-related fields... OK, I was working through that.

What concerns me greatly is that somehow, the relationship between JEVENTS and DTRegister became broken. Clicking on the event registration page and the name of the event, which should link to the JEVENTS event instead brings up the WRONG events!

I noticed this shortly after noticing that in registration confirmation e-mail, it says "with a payment status of" and cites the confirmation code, and then says "Confirmation #:" with no code. The codes in the e-mail template appear to be correct.

And then, I did a CSV export and noticed that the resulting Excel file has the same location for all records, even though the events do not all have the same location. (Also, some more minor functions like being able to edit titles to put periods after Mr./Ms. seem to have been removed.)

It is clear that more testing needs to be done, but I am getting concerned about whether I should continue to work with this component or cut to something else as I have schedules to meet. Will it be working soon?

DT Register is stable and fine for use. Will work through your issues in the ticket as you double posted it there. We've been working on some tweaks to the calendar, although if setup properly, it will work as is as far as functionality goes.

Also, no features are lost from before... only more added. The Title field you referred to is completely customizable in the Fields management area where all fields are edited. It was previously modified in the main config area. Field management has increased greatly in 2.7.

Just wanted to make a couple quick notes. Will look at the other items in more detail through your ticket.

OK, I see the Title in the Fields area. Thanks. I'm going to try an uninstall and reinstall and will keep my fingers crossed on it getting unsynched again - however let me know if that is a problem with this version.
