TOPIC: Event Promotion without Registration

P.S. I tried disabling the plugin and adding the dtregister code to insert the "register now" button in the article. The button didn't work, it only showed code in the live article. (I'm not using JEvents, and do not want to, so being able to remove the registration button would reduce confusion for site users when registration is unnecessary.)
