I have just upgraded my 2.6.9 site to 2.7.1c. There were a few little issues, but I got them sorted out.

The only thing I am not able to do is get any events to show on the DT Register Calendar. I have not broken the link to JEvents yet and not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Anyone have this issue? Any fixes? All the events show in the event listings, but the calendar is blank.

Thanks!
Dave

P.S. Nathan and team.... great job on the new app. It looks great so far and seems to be stable for our use.

Thanks Dave! I just looked at your site and the calendar view DOES show your events. Whether or not you have kept the sync with JEvents would not affect the DT Register calendar. The calendar defaults to the current month, and you have no events this month. When you click the arrow to move to the next month, you will see items in the calendar.

We are looking at options to maybe add the ability to default which month shows when the calendar first loads. Thanks.

LOL... not sure what site you were looking at as I had shut my calendar view off since it wasn't working.

Here is the link to the site that doesn't work:

www.silvercore.ca

The Calendar View under COURSES is what I was meaning.

Dave, this is the site I had looked at. There was not an active menu item, but I happen to know the url to type in to get to the calendar still :) Again, it IS working and I just saw it again. The initial load of the calendar shows nothing as it loads this month... and you have no events this month. To the left of the month name display, click the arrow to move to the next month. That is when I see a number of events in the calendar view. I'm looking using Firefox. If you still don't see anything, submit a ticket and let us know what browser you are using when you don't see anything.

OK... now my mind is playing tricks on me. I see what you mean. When I set it up, the first page is the end of December which has no courses. The second page does.

When I first checked after the install, it didn't work, but the late hour may have had something to do with it!!

You are right, there are a couple changes to the calendar that would help.

1) Allow the first date to be a date with a course so that when you get to the end of the month, like today, there isn't a blank calendar on the page when you say not to display past events;

2) Add the name of the month in large characters at the top of the page.

As a side note:

When I did the conversion to 2.7.1c from 2.6.9, two items didn't make the transfer:

1) The prices of my events did not transfer. They all came across as zero and had to be re-entered.

2) All of my main events had waiting list turned on. After the transfer, they were all not set as wait list.
