I'm presently running 2.7.1c on my test site to get familiar with everything and make sure all is working before upgrading on my main production site. Everything seems to be in order so far. My one confusion is why the calendar view does not have the provision for a large month on the top.
When looking at a monthly calendar, most people expect to see December or January in large letters on top so they quickly know the month they are looking at. In the new DT Reg calendar, there is only small letter showing the start date to the end date. This is NOT user friendly and it feels like the month is strangely missing.
I'm hoping you will offer this as an option or even make it a default feature in a future version. Other than this one issue, I like the large calendar format and the amount of space available in each date and I also love the fact that a week view is available.
Also, when clicking on the event in the calendar, it looks like an active link but is not taking me to the details article I set in Admin. Is this still a bug or am I missing something?
Thanks for all your hard work on 2.7 and squashing all the many bugs. I'm glad I waited it out before upgrading and looking forward to starting 2011 with this new powerful version.
I agree - the calendar definitely needs to have the month instead of the date range listed at the top. This has confused more than one tester for our site.
When opening the DT Reg calendar, it opens to a date range prior to the current date. What is causing this? It is very confusing. Is this a bug? I'd love to know how to adjust this or if this is going to be fixed in next version.
Howard - this is now available in 2.7.1d. Please update. If you have an issue with the default month that loads, submit it in a ticket. Haven't seen or heard about that happening for anyone before. Thanks.
