until now, had used shared hosting, but because of the need to send many emails, I've migrated to a virtual private server.
Now when I access the registration page in the administration, I see only a blank page. also I get the blank page when I try to create a csv file with the records for an event.
has this happened to someone else? DT technicians tell me that is possibly a Restrictive on the server.
I tried changing all permissions and I still have the problem.
i´ve installed DT Register 2.6.9c , and it works perfectly in shared hostings. my vps is a "GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Xeon(R)CPU E5520 @ 2.27GHz" with 256mb ram.
Doesn't matter whether you are on shared hosting or VPN. What matters is the configuration of whatever you are hosting the site on. First, make sure the VPN is running PHP 5.2 or later.
Then if that's not the issue, enable maximum error reporting in Joomla. Then hopefully instead of a white screen, it will actually give you an error that you can work with. This will pretty likely come down to some configuration on your new VPN.
