First, make sure you have the 2.7 version of the EventLink plugin. Second, this is most likely happening because you have multiple events assigned to the same article. When this happens, the plugin will link to the next occurring event that is assigned to the article.
I have the current plugin Event-link. Also installed v2.7.1a
I have no events that link to a seperate article.
I use JEvents. I first make create the event in JEvents. There I also put in the text that is displayed. I do have more than one event. But they all are created first in JEvents, and than DTregister links to those events. So no seperate articles.
The EventID just differs what is displayed at the frontend and the backend.
I've reported this before in earlier v2.7 versions. Therefor I cannot display the JEvents calendar, which I do want to do.
@dthadmin, I've put in trouble tickets earlier. Feel free to check the backend yourself.
In any case I'd like this solved, because I need that bit of textual explenation before customers will register.
Updated to v2.7.1c
Also uninstalled the Event plugin and re-installed.
Deleted all published events, and re-made them.
8 events in total. They neatly number sequentially. From number 30 to 37.
This is in the backend.
When I look at the front end, using the option to press the "Register Now" button (supported by the "event plugin v2.7.0"), the events numbers do not match up. Hence no one can register.
Front end number skip randomly: 27, 21, 23, 25, 20, 22, 24, 26 (compared to the backend 30-37 numbering).
As stated in your ticket, this issue has been resolved. The EventLink plugin has been updated to 2.7.1 and can be found in the new 2.7.1d package of DT Register. Thanks!
