TOPIC: [SETUP ISSUE] Group Registration Unusable

After group registration is checked on the front end and number of members in group is entered, the next page only shows the words "Member 1 Information" and a Next Step button. Clicking the next button shows a white page with only the words "Your total Registration cost: $ 510.00" on it.

Group registration is completely broken. My client is getting upset. This is not a minor bug. Please bump this up in your fix priority list.

I think this issue is related to your site, because on my site everything works good after 2.7.1 upgrade.
Sometimes I had fields-related problems, but after cleaning cache (site preferences, forms history etc.) everything was good.

If it doesn't help, you need to admin assistance.

topwebs - just answered your ticket about this. I know things are behind, but double-posting just makes it worse... giving us double work. Anyway...

There is no bug with group registration. You just have your fields setup wrong. I'm leaving this forum post here just in case anyone else ever runs into a similar setup issue. Here is what I posted to your ticket:

You have no fields showing because you have them disabled for group registrations. Open your event to edit, then go to the Fields tab. You will see that you have ALL of the fields set for "Individual" meaning they will only show in an Individual registration. If you are offering both Individual and Group registration, you need to change that to "Both". Then your fields will show up. Check the column to the right to set how to use the fields in a group registration... do you want the field for each member, on the final billing page, or both. Thanks.
