Hi,

Maybe these questions have been answered on the forum, but I cannot find them. So if anyone know, please help. Is there any documentation on the new 2.7.0i version?

1. Lost all my current events after upgrading to 2.7 from 2.6.9. Although the data seems to be in the database and also shows up on Jevents. What do I need to do?
2. Do I still need jEvents? Can I not delete that component?
3. Builtin Calendar does not show categories legend. Does it have one? and when I click on event, it goes to the article , instead of event list?

So any help to resolve this will be appreciated.

Thanks all

bruno

Hello. Go to the DT Register control panel and you'll find many helpful links, including the documentation link and the link to the new video tutorials which are stored on YouTube.

1) go to the DT Register control panel, then click the Migrate 2.6 Records button. On that page, click the big migrate button and you should have all events and records in place.

2) JEvents is no longer required. Before you uninstall it, first get your records and events in order. Once all is migrated successfully and verified, you can use the JEvents Unsync tool (in control panel). This will remove the connection of migrated events. They will then be fully editable in DT Register only. Once you verify all is well, then you can remove JEvents.

3) Go to Configuration -> Calendar. There is a setting to enable the categories legend which will show beneath the calendar. You can also set a parameter for if the calendar item links to the details article or to registration.

Sounds like you really need to go through the video tutorials to get familiar with all of the setup options. Thanks!
