TOPIC: Installing JEvents from MAC computer

I'm trying to install JEvents for Joomla 1.5 from my MAC for the first time and can't seem to find the right file when I browse from the Extension Manager Install on Joomla. Anyone willing to help a newbie get started?

That is a very very basic problem -- with a little effort you should be able to get through this.

On a Mac, downloads usually are placed in the Downloads folder (your name > downloads).

From Joomla just navigate to the main JEvents file that you downloaded (usually named something like "com_jevents_155_b1867.zip" and select Upload/Install in Joomla Extension Manager. The other JEvents files can also be installed.

Be sure to write down your JEvents file names, find out where they are located after download (you can search using Spotlight), then navigate to them.

It's really about going slow, documenting every step and paying attention to every detail.
