TOPIC: [SOLVED] Dt Register 2.7.h2 Won't Save config/events

Ok I installed h2 on a clean joomla site
All the other versions would save the CP settings fine
Now I Cannot save Configuration or events in this version
I tried in IE , FF and chrome .
All the other tabs save fine in the admin panel but those 2 aint saving
Alls I did was restored a backup of my site that had never had DT Reg on before
Installed com_dtregister2_7_0h_J15.zip as normal
( BTW it was saving in previous versions )
And now Config and events wont save
They just flicker and when i refresh all settings are back to how they were

I Rebuilt my site again and tried again but its the same...wont save
I tried on a clean install of generic joomla ....won't save .
I Installed then tried , then uninstalled / Re-installed and the same
Why isnt this version saving the config and events yet it will save all the other tabs?

Bought this early september on the advice 2.7 will do exactly what we want . Sat a Training Webinar at 3am to make sure it would do what we want
And it will .... Its just not doing it now
3 months on and I have 2 weeks left to Create a sports reg site and this is the only thing holding us back .

Can someone please tell me what the problem is?
As I said , the other versions albiet buggy still saved and I have even tried on another server to replicate this issue which it did the same . So Am I Wrong in thinking this is another bug ?

Is anyone else having the same issue on a clean install????

i have the same problem. Needs to be solved before I can use it properly.

In configuration, check the Emails tab... we have made the From Email and From Name required as people had email issues due to not filling in all of the info. Those fields will show a red X validation error if empty when being saved. We'll be updating this shortly to make it more obvious what you have excluded so you know why it isn't saving. Check all tabs for any red X. If you have no indications of a problem field, submit this in a ticket so we can check it out. There should be no reason for it not saving though as long as you have all data entered correctly.

You should make it more obvious... I think I used an extra hour scratching my head on this one
