I am receiving payments from registrations and they have no user data!!!
I just got a message from paypal that I had received a payment of $66 which is two tickets.
The registration records page does not show any info on the user. So I have no idea who this is????? (that is going to be very embarrassing at the event)
The amount shows up as $-66 in the records page. Registrations were working fine up until the last two. What has happened!!

I also have one registration that shows $0 paid and again no info on the user.
I have no idea what is going wrong.

For the last 2 registrations the admin emails have stopped working. and who knows if the users have received their confirmation emails.

Also the event is set to a limit of 60 people but this doesnt work. You can still book even when you go over the limit????? I have already put in a ticket and a post in regards to this but no response.

I'm having the same problem as well. All of a sudden, I started receiving PayPal payments with no registration. If some does a pay later (by mail) option, it still registers fine. I haven't updated to 2.7 yet because my once a year even is in two weeks, so I wanted to finish this year's event with the program that I already have and change after that. Should I go ahead and update?

@18handicap - your PayPal account may have updated as they've made changes. If you are using the latest 2.6.9c (latest before 2.7), then you should be fine. If not, update to that at least to accomodate recent PayPal changes. 2.7 is good with the changes too.

Other things to check that would cause a record to not be completed:
- make sure IPN is enabled in the PayPal account
- make sure auto-return is OFF in the PayPal account
- make sure permissions are correct on your site... directories 755 and files 644
- if using any firewall setup like RS Firewall or similar, these are known to block PayPal IPN so you'll have to address that within that component

@aforantman - check the same items above, but also first make sure you have updated to the latest version of DT Register, which is presently 2.7.1c. After updating, make sure on the Emails tab in configuration that you have provided the From Name, From Email, and also have configured BOTH the thank you email AND the Admin notification email.

If all is setup correctly, there should be no issues with PayPal and record creation.

Hi Mate,

It all corrected itself when I did the update.
My first version downloaded was in the 2.7's so I m not sure what effect the change will have on your situation / setup.

But all works fine now.
