I used the large button (I don't remember what it says) to delete JEvents from the site I was using... It seems that it also erased JEvents from another site I had on the same server (but with a different subdomain)... I have to say that it messed up everything badly and I had to remake all my events from scratch (even a one day old backup did not make the job, because the only version I could find of JEvents is 1.5 and I used 1.4 before). I was not really happy!

Sorry, but this is just not possible. First of all, there is NOTHING in DT Register that can uninstall JEvents on ANY site. The Unsync tool is very simple and only removes data in the DT Register event table... the one piece of data that makes a connection to an event in JEvents. It does not uninstall JEvents. We would never setup something like that.

Then to say a change in one site affected other sites on the same server is not possible either. To make changes to another site, even on the same server, DT Register would need the database user and password for the other site. Obviously, that info is not available to DT Register. Just like any other component in Joomla, it will only make changes to the same database that it is installed on.

Your sites all have their own databases correct? The only way you could have multiple sites sharing the same database would be to use different table prefixes. That would be a very bad idea from a setup standpoint... I have to assume that is NOT how things are configured.

I have no idea what happened to your other site, but you need to investigate further. Unless you have multiple sites sharing the same database, this just would not be possible.

You must be right... I am not a beginner nor an advanced programmer... but it happened like that... So, as you say, I'll investigate. Thanks for your answer!
