TOPIC: how to implement ssl???

Hello.
Can somebody please give me directions on how to implement SSL on the DT Donate component? I\'ve read a few posts on here regarding this but no specific directions on how to implement were listed. I am not a programmer so my knowledge is limited.
The site is on the latest stable version of Joomla v.1.5.8. I\'ve successfully installed and configured DT Donate on the site to process transactions with authorize.net. Now, I was to make the transactions on a SSL. I\'ve purchased the SSL through my webhost but that\'s where I\'m at a dead end. I\'ve went into the parameters (system) settings and turned SSL to \"on\" but that doesn\'t work because the SSL domain \"https://\" is not the same as the regular domain on the site \"http://\". Can anybody help? Any advice??? Please???

There are excellent installation/tutorial videos here which explain how to configure your SSL in RT_Register... check them out.

It\'s a DT Register thread, but the code works for both DT Donate and DT Register. It will force a https url for both components.
