TOPIC: custom tags in email

I know that you can use custom tags in the DT Register emails such as:
[NAME] - Registrant\'s Name
[AMOUNT] - Payment Amount
[PAYMENT_TYPE] - Method of Payment

Has this capability been added to DT Donate yet? I tried adding [NAME] into an email and it literally put \"[NAME]\" into the email instead of parsing the tag and adding the person\'s name.
