Im kind of new at this, and I really need some help. I set up a donate now page for my charity goup ( www.nhclx.org ). It is being hosted on Yahoo servers, I want to apply ssl certificate to it, but of what Ive read and them telling me I cant do that with yahoo servers because it is a shared hosting server. They say to create a folder called ssl and put into it whatever web pages I wanted to be secured. Can i put the Dt Donate component into a ssl folder for it to be secured?

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Hello. You need your own SSL certificate. You can not put ANY component into a separate directory from the rest of your joomla site. A CMS does not work that way. Did Yahoo tell you that you can not use your own SSL certificate?? They should allow you to purchase a certificate and then apply it to your domain name. Purchasing your own is the only way to utilize SSL in a Joomla site. If Yahoo will not allow it, then you may have to upgrade your hosting account.
