TOPIC: Adding a 2nd DT Donate

Hey All,

First of all I love the component, I have altered it to be used for a gift card. It works great. Still probably need some fine tuning to fit me exact needs, but it was very easy to manipulate.

Since I use the one component to sell gift cards, I was wondering if anyone knew a quick way to install a 2nd component so that I could use that one for a donation records and this one to continue to use for a gift card.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hello. There is no quick way to install two of any one component in Joomla. You'd have to create a duplicate version that would run like com_dtdonate_copy. ALL files would need database references updated... all database table names would need altered accordingly. This is required since Joomla doesn't allow the same component to be installed twice.
