Here are some features to consider as you think about new things to add to DTRegister:
Important
CSV Export by Event
Discount Coupon Codes
Confirmation page (after successfully registering) needs to show event title, date, location, etc. with option to print.
Customizable Emails to registrants to include event details
Reminder emails to registrants at a configurable interval prior to event
Customize sender name on confirmation emails to participants
Administrator email when someone registers should include how they\'re paying and event details (sometimes events on different dates have the same name)
Useful, but less important
Automated ability to produce a roster and email it to a specified email address(es), such as a presenter, prior to event
Ability to set defaults for event setup (such as where to send administrator emails)
Integration with some sort of event evaluation/survey component to automatically email attendees after an event and conduct an online evaluation
Perhaps you could have a lite version at your current price level and a pro version at a higher price point. I would be willing to pay quite a bit more for a version that offered a feature set similar to RegOnline or some of the other hosted event registration services.

These are my top three as well. I really need the Discount Coupon option in the next 45 days... I\'m more than willing to code this if I could get it integrated into the base product - I\'m reluctant to make this type of mod and have to support/re-integrate it into future releases, as once I give it to my \"customers\" they would never let it go... Would this be possible?
Actually, Nathan is already working on including variables (tags) on the confirmation page. As to the other items, the more people that ask for them, the more likely he is to push them to the top of the new feature list. (The discount code is a HUGE item for us in our business.) It\'s my understanding that his priority right now, however, is getting the Joomla 1.5 native version out.
Mike--can I get a copy of that? I\'m dying for the discounting option. I have a conference at which I need to allow students to attend for free and board members to attend at a reduced rate. Everyone else is full price.

Yes, I\'m willing to share it when it is done. Not sure if there is a "protocol" around this or not for DTregister...? I\'m not comfortable [read I won\'t be] redistributing the modified modules, as a) they are copyrighted and b) I have no way to validate licensed ownership. So, I\'m thinking I\'d have to package up some form of unified diff files & associated SQL to add this to a specific version of the product. What are often referred to as "mods" in the open source community. Ideally, if this has value I\'d love to see it just incorporated back in the base product.
Note: My design is done, but I haven\'t started coding, as I\'m waiting on the next version which will fix a critical issue I\'m having (and I don\'t want to retro fit to a new version right off the bat).
