TOPIC: [SOLVED] Pagination error with latest T3 system plugin

Hi,

I am using latest version of DT Register on Joomla 3.8.1 together with purityIII template and T3 system plugin and I am facing following issue when using the "List all Events" menu item:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare class Joomla\\CMS\\Pagination\\Pagination, because the name is already in use in /var/www/html/cms3x/plugins/system/t3/includes/joomla4/Pagination.php on line 20, referer: cms3x.localhost/lizenzspringer.html

I already contacted the template provider and they suggested to contact you.
They tested the same combination in a fresh environment and claim that this worked and came up with this suggestion:

It’s weird that I install this extension > create a menu item with type of DT Register – List events type but it works.

With above error message, I guess DT Register declass JPagination class again and it causes conflict. You can check in this component and try to comment this line:

jimport('cms.pagination.pagination');
But it’s best to contact provider of DT Register to add a control to check if the class Jpagination is already declared.

Is this an appropriate suggestion or do you have something else in mind?

This was fixed on the client site through a ticket. For anyone else that runs into this, update to the new DT Register 3.2.7 and you'll find this fix has been included.
