WE just experienced this issue, with, now, at least two occasions this week where someone registered, PayPal payment came through, but NO DT Register record (or email notification) at all.
Serious problem here so hope there is some careful sleuthing and a resolution soon.

Firefox was updated to version 52 which disables NPAPI plugins by default.

I see some errors/issues/retries in PayPal with IPN trying to successfully send notification back to DT Register. We've had some registrations come in just fine (PayPal payment and DT Register registration and email notification) but two have not completed a registration in the component.

hi,

if event registration is free the registration is created at the end of the process without any craps!

Same if you choose later payment kind as bank transfer.

Maybe is possible to create something in paypal payment module that bahaves like "later payment" store the registration records and then send costumer to paypal.

I mean for me it is better to have registration stored and maybe update payment info manually reading it from my paypal account instead.

my registration count of event is more than 2500... and when users lost 100 groups records bvecause paypal payment is an havoc

I use both, DT Register and "Event Booking" . Recently, this issue was also seen on Event Booking, and they fixed it. Here is what they did to fix it:

Nathan, hope you could get an idea about this, and fix it in DT Register as well. This has started recently, and given the number of recent complaints, I can clearly tell something has changed, either with PayPal or with the way DT Register communicates with PayPal.
