Hi everyone,
Just to let you know that the current version of Joomla just released, Joomla 3.5.1 kills DT register. Users can no longer submit registrations. Do not upgrade!

Same thing happened to RSFORMS and the developer there submitted a patch.

Cheers,
John

I encountered issues with the most current release of DT Register (DT-Register 3.1.7) after I upgraded from Joomla 3.5.0 to 3.5.1. More information: I am using Search Engine Friendly URLs set to "Yes" and Use URL Rewriting set to "Yes on my Joomla global configuration.

It seemed that the issue involved completion of a registration. Upon completion of a registration, DT Register would return incorrect urls (unfound url's and 404's), rather than the registration confirmation screen. DT Register failed to send the registrant a registration confirmation email. But the registration showed up as a completed registration on the backend.

Am guessing that this may have something to do with the change in the Joomla 3.5.1 release where it fixes the root url sometimes returning empty in canonical urls...

The DT Register team can work the issue.

When I encountered the issue, I reverted back to Joomla 3.5.0 and it solved the problem. Am sticking with Joomla 3.5.0 until we have a solution.

My site is running with 3.5.1 and the latest version of DT register with registrations working fine.

One problem I did just run into, is someone trying to use a discount code.
Registrations without using a discount code are working.

We have updated the package now to include DT Register 3.1.7a, which addresses both an issue with the email registrants feature, and also issues introduced with Joomla 3.5.1 that kept registrations from completing and emails from working. Thanks for your patience!
