TOPIC: BARCODE image link broken or missing

Recently we ran an event with the BARCODE turned on and included in the confirmation email which was like the ticket required to enter the venue and we would scan the barcode. What we experienced is that some people while getting the email the barcode image was missing or they had a hyperlink where the barcode image should be but the link seemed to be broken.

Is there anyway to have the the confirmation ticket with barcode turned into a PDF or is there a way to generate a ticket into a PDF with the registered information and barcode that gets sent to the entrant?

Of course that is possible... but DT Register doesn't currently support that. We'd like to add in the PDF capability, but it hasn't hit the table yet.

So you are saying that some people had the barcode in the email fine, but some did not? What version of DT Reg are you running?

So we are running another event in March which could potentially have 1000+ people and we are trying to reduce the admin on ticketing by emailing the ticket as part of the rego process with barcode - So now I am concerned that this might create a rego nightmare if a the barcode is does not appear in some people emails.

So any suggestions to help make this process more robust would be most grateful..

Also, please forward an example email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and reference this post. A ticket for this would probably be best with admin access... noting a couple of records where the barcode didn't show in the email.
