TOPIC: No Registration link on Details page if the details are long

I'm having an issue where the registration button is no longer showing on the event details article page. BUT here is the thing...

If the article detail is short the button shows up. If we put too much information in the article the button does not show up.

If I remove all the text from the Bolded Registration word below - it works.
Add any info below this word and it doesn't show.

It's almost acting like there is a word or character limit, or height limit for the article.

Sorry, but the EventLink plugin that displays the register button at the bottom of an article has absolutely nothing to do with the length of your article. That doesn't matter. What DOES matter is when you put a manual registration link in the article... like you have... it overrides the automatic button so it will NOT show. If you also want the button, you'll have to manually enter the plugin code where you want the button.

Any other ideas what it might be?
Also as a work around, What is the manual plugin code that I can use please?

First, it's very possible that it APPEARS that you have removed your manual link, but that the HTML still exists. Look in the HTML view of your article and search for "com_dtregister" (without the quotes of course). There's probably a trace of your link still there. If you still can't find it, submit a ticket with admin access so we can look for you.

It does however work with the manual link
{dtregisterEDIT}eventID{/dtregisterEDIT} (with the edits of course and 1 on the event ids. As we have 4 events linking to this one details page, and assuming we cant get it to work automatically - how can I get the register now to show all the events linking to this details page with the drop down function?
