TOPIC: [SOLVED] DT Register 2.8 New Events Button

we just purchased and install your product and are not able to view the "New" button under the events tab. We have also tried to use the component with JEvents and there is no link on the Event's page to sync with JEvents as shown on your videos. I have also enabled the DT Register JEvents Update Plugin

Please advice.

Also, I got the following error when trying to install the following files:

Installer:Install: Cannot find XML setup file
cbplug_dtregister_records1_6_1.zip
image_sources.zip

First, if you downloaded 2.8.1, please download again as we had not even announced that new version but had uploaded it into the system, then found a couple of issues. Please download it again and reinstall.

Second, go to DT Register -> Permissions. First click "Sync Groups". Then set permissions as needed for your user groups. You don't see a NEW button simply because you haven't setup permissions yet.

Third, the items noted that you could not install are not items that are intended to be install. Please see the readme file that came with the package as it explains what each item is and what it is for. Thanks!

I am having this same problem.
I re-downloaded the 2.8.1 version and re-installed.
When I go to Events, there is no New button.
In fact, it looks like maybe two buttons are missing. See attached file.

writwilc - simply do what is stated above. This is nothing but a lack of permissions setup. Do each item noted above and you'll be fine.
