TOPIC: [SOLVED] Repeating Events showing on all days

Hi,

I am trying to set up an event to recur every Friday. The configuration of the event looks like this:

[attachment=0:f4yytuwn]<!-- ia0 -->events.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:f4yytuwn]

But it is displaying on the calendar like this:

[attachment=1:f4yytuwn]<!-- ia1 -->events2.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:f4yytuwn]

Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, incorrect setup. You have created a year-long event and set that long event to happen each week. You need to set the initial event as just the one day (so change the end date). Then the one day event can repeat and display on each Friday.

OK thanks for that. I'm still not able to get it to work though. Here I my settings:
[attachment=1:6u2o7cze]<!-- ia1 -->events.jpg<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:6u2o7cze]

and here is what it looks like:

[attachment=0:6u2o7cze]<!-- ia0 -->events2.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:6u2o7cze]

You are also missing the repeat parameter for how long. You need to either give a number of repeats or give a date that the repeat will continue until.

I've tried entering values in both of those fields and it is not saved.

I think something is broken with this event. I tried using a different event and it worked. I'll look into this more tomorrow.

Just delete the event and re-create it. It can be difficult to re-save repeating events that were not setup correctly to begin with. Just start over
