You get free updates for one year, so during that year you can download the latest build from My Orders.

Still not seeing this feature on the latest releases. Any solid date on this? Would be a huge deal for most of my projects. I hate to have my clients go into the Joomla backend for any reason...

No this is not available yet. Target has been September... as stated and quoted here by you. Probably 2 weeks away at this point.

Is there a demo of the front-end event creation process somewhere? I am using jomsocial and would like my members to be able to create events and then have the option of taking payment for the event registration. I would like to make sure that this process of creating an event is simple enough for the average user but cannot seem to find an example of front-end event creation on the demo site.

Thanks.

You can disregard my question. I managed to figure out how I could demo the front end on your site by going to http://www.dthdevelopment.com/demo/ .
