TOPIC: DT Register 2.7.6 Released

We have a new 2.7.6 release to put in your hands! There have been a number of things we've addressed and improved upon. Hopefully you've already seen and taken advantage of the multiple 2.7.5 updates we released, but if not, time to get your site updated! Here is what we have for you in this package...

- Modified the Publish/Unpublish Permission setting. Now if a user group has event management permission, but does NOT have publish permission, they will not see the publish yes/no setting when editing or creating an event. When they create events, by default they will NOT be published. So you can have a higher level user approve the event first!
- Added new moderator display options. Now instead of just Yes or No for the display of the moderator in the event listing, you can display the moderator name, username or both.
- Added new parameter to set field styling to be controlled by your site template or by DT Register. If you choose DT Register, a new script is used to style checkboxes, radio buttons, etc. This gives you the option of customizing things further and controlling more the various statuses of a field, such as when it is disabled.
- Fixed Selection Limit issue where the field values chosen by group members were not always being counted towards the limit in some scenarios.
- Fixed known translation issues with Joomfish and tested with the newest JoomFish 2.1.7 version. Translation issues affected mainly the emails and the confirmation page during registration. Be sure to update our Joomfish content element files. Do it manually to avoid losing your translations you've already entered.
- Fixed the publish/unpublish icon on the frontend event management list.
- Fixed Thank You message refresh issue. If any action was done while the final thank you message was showing that caused the page to refresh, errors would show previously.
- Fixed calendar display issue where if you were viewing a different month then clicked to filter by a selected category, it would refresh back to the current month.

Oh, forgot one big new feature!!

- You can now set both the thank you message and pay later thank you message to show either the onscreen message or redirect to a specified URL. This can also be set custom per event! Enjoy

(Just to be clear people: This feature makes it possible to track sales with Google Analytics or other tracking-scripts!)

Looks like the new 2.7.6 package had a few missing new database items in the install script, so we've already updated to 2.7.6a. Please re-download if you already download in the last couple of days. Thanks!

When updating do I simply re-install the package? Are there any other steps or will there be any changes to what I have all ready set up?

Full instructions are found in the readme.txt file, but it's basically uninstall the current package and then reinstall the new one. You will not lose any data, events, records, etc. If upgrading from a version prior to 2.7.x, make sure you first read the instructions before you do anything.
