TOPIC: DT Register 2.7.2c available - session fix

The DT Register package is now updated to 2.7.2c. Just a few items addressed in this package, but all users should update. Items fixed are:

- Group waiting list registrations for a full event.
- Sage payments were not working for some users.
- Fatal error after returning from external payments like PayPal, Google Checkout, etc. The payment method was not always being stored in the DT session. This is resolved.

Also, we've found that some people have a session issue like this due to outdated versions of Joomla. If you are having any issue like this, update to the latest version of Joomla. You should be doing that anyway! Thanks

It's really great to see ongong fixes coming out so frequently but is there any progress / official update on what seems to be DT Register's biggest current problem....

andybon - the issue you are referring to is not a global issue. Only seems to be happening on a few select sites. Personally, I've never seen it happen one time on ANY of our test sites. I'm wondering if the sessions issue that was addressed in this new update may be tied to the empty registrations problem. Please update then let us know if you see that issue continue.

No - The problem still remains - Just got my first empty registration of the day.... Updated the empty registrations post....

Registrations completely fail for us in 2.7.2c. They appear to work, but no record is recorded in the back end. We have reverted back to 2.7.2b.
