TOPIC: DT Register 2.7.0h Update

wbaccus - sorry but that is not possible. You must be unzipping a previously downloaded package. The download link is setup where there is no way that it would include anything older.

Never mind. I downloaded again and it was h.

Must've still had the g installer in my inbox. My bad.

Fingers crossed that h will be the 2.7 version that works!

In the installation are two com_dtregister files.... one named 2.7.0f and 2.7.0h.

The instructions only mention upgrading via 2.6.9

Please advise.

Houston we have another problem.

First I upgraded like this.

2.6.9 > 2.7.0.h
I noticed that once again the categories were no longer published... but more importantly none of the events had titles any longer.
So I did...

2.6.9 > 2.7.0.f > 2.7.0.h
Same as above

Interestingly... the Events appear to have the correct registration records attached to them, which is what the problem was before.

I know this must be frustrating for the developers... but it's even more frustrating for me.

I used that "Migration Tool"
So now I'll try once more... without using the migration too.

OK... so coming from my previous 2.6.6? > 2.6.9
All is well except
I went into two events and clicked save

Now from 2.6.9 > 2.7.0.h
Clearly a lot of DB changes going on during the install as it takes about 1 minute. In fact I had to increase my time out on my server first time I tried this when 2.7.0 was announced.

Install complete...
No event names.

Just noticed that an issue I had with a previous install reappeared. I have some old tables in my DB with a different prefix name (jos_)
I will delete these and try again. (18th time lucky)

No cigar.

All events have no title. Therefore no way to edit them.

Enabled the Migration script... then also ran the "remove Jevents sync" script.
Still no change

Norm - will look at your site. This is not a problem we've been able to replicate with recent packages.
