TOPIC: Ver. 2.7 ETA?

There has been talk of "september" as a release time for 2.7 -- wondering if you could provide a better estimate of when 2.7 might be released? Can you confirm that 2.7 will be the first jevents free version? I'm very much hoping to avoid showing my client the cumbersome sequence of "first add your event in this app over here, then go to that app for the registration part" and simply awe them with one, nice, clean event app that does it all.

Ping? I'll take that as a "we have no idea when 2.7 will be ready" and get back to work training my client on the JEvents -> DTH process...

We tweeted and Facebooked yesterday an update... at this point, we are looking at early October. Hopefully the first week. Some things are just taking longer to finish than expected. Once it's out, you'll understand why. There are so many new things, so many changes... cool stuff. Hang tight... nearing the finish line.

e.g. payment reminder for pay later option. messages after x days after the event (automatic thank you messages).
