Every time a major update is done, an email goes out to all users. In that, there are always updating details. Also found in the forum announcements of these releases... and the news articles posted on the site.
Login, go to My Orders, and the Download link there pulls the latest package available. You have access to that download (and tech support) for one year from purchase. Once that expires, the download link will go away and a new license purchase would be needed at that point.
I understand what you mean, but the thing is, I payed for a component that was supposed to be working. And this problem did not exist in the previous versiones. I updated to the newer ones (2.7.7 and 2.7.9c.) I had downloaded a short time ago before my download period expired. When I updated to these ones suddenly a problem that did not exist before came up.
I payed for a component that's supposed to be working, and I don't want to pay again to make it work because there was a bug in your updated version. Please send an older version that works or the latest version if you would be kind. I would prefer the latest one, but if you demand more payment for that, please just send me an older one without this bug.
zaruc - your license just expired less than two weeks ago, but 2.7.9 is about 4 months old or so. You had access to the current package before you expired I'm emailing it to you now. Any further updates will of course require a new license.
Of course, keep in mind, that it IS possible that this issue you are having is due to something other than the component. When you have a blank page, it's generally a fatal error, so setting error reporting to maximum will usually show you what the actual error is. I'd suggest doing this if you still have a problem after updating. However, you shouldn't even be able to press the final submit button twice in the current package... assuming was that was the needed action to product the error. Thanks.
