TOPIC: Dropdown List PreSelected Value Does Not Populate

Did you try rearranging the order of the selections intead of preselecting a value. ie if you live in NY then place NY at the top of the selection list ie NY|AK|AL etc. You may need to clear your cache to see the new order. If not choose Select on the form then do a page refresh and see if your preferred State is at the top of the list.

aardcom, putting a value first in the list doesn't make it auto-selected. This should be a null issue. In older versions (and this is an old thread that you replied to), there was an issue (rarely) where the value named to be selected by default was not. In the current package, this is fine. Anyone having an issue with it still would almost positively be a setup problem and can be sorted through a ticket.
