TOPIC: Backend editing of number of Registrants

Is there a way for an admin person to edit the number of registrants in a Group registration? At the moment, the only way we seem to able to do this is to re-enter the info and then delete the original registration.

And what if a single registrant wants to change to a group registrant? Is there an easy way to do that?

Are you talking about simple or detailed group registrations? Detailed group registrations would be a matter of adding or removing group members.

No way to change an individual record to a group record at this time.

I'm referring to a simple group registration. We have no need to know all the details of the group. Just how many people are in the group.

In a simple group registration, you can't currently change the number in the group. This type of editing is available in detailed group registrations as you can add/remove group members. We'll try to get something added for the simple option soon.

What we do that works good is create the registration as an individual registration, then have a fee field for number of people. This way they can login and use the user panel to change that field at any time, or we can do it from the backend.

The only problem I see with the fee field approach is that then the back end sees the registration as if it's for a single person and not the total number in the group - makes it harder to track when the event is full.
