TOPIC: Max - min group size errors

After upgrading from 2.7 "f" to "i", the max/min on the group setup will not work. No matter what I enter, on the event 'general' setup page, I get an error similar to "The number of group members must be between 2 - 0 " after I enter the "number of registrants in your group" It will not take any number between the min/max that have been saved in the setup. I also left the max blank as a test.

I have deleted and re-entered the events to be sure that isn't the issue, and I entered a new different event. What am I doing wrong?

I had this issue a few posts back.... Someone helped me.... Going from memory here as it's been a real long day....

I think above the Max and Min fields in the back end, there's a total capacity or something - you have to have a number in there if you want to use min and max - and then things work at the front-end!

In an ideal world you wouldn't need a number in the capacity box, but as things are right now it seems you do!....

Thanks.... your prompt response is appreciated. I should have found that post. I forgot that I didn't put in an "Event Capacity" in my test events when I upgraded versions. It works as expected when that is entered.

Actually, once you get past the group number input, group registration completely fails. It gives you no place to input the members information, then pops up a page with a wrong total reservation price and no other buttons. Major problems.

We have found that when capacity and/or maximum group size is not given, then there can be issues. We're fixing it now and will have it included in the next update. For now, provide these items in the event settings and you should be fine. Thanks.
