TOPIC: "You had registered for this event already"

Hi, I'm seeing this dialog when I try to register a test user. I went back through with a different name and info, same thing. I looked for cookies, but I didn't see anything suspicious. Thanks!

OK, I see the code doing this. It seems to check the email address, but I was using totally fake and new emails each time... don't know why it is complaining. So I will just comment that code out for the time being, it is not a critical feature for me.

As this is in the 1.5 area of the forum, I'm assuming you are all having this issue while using J!1.5. Are you using Legacy Mode? Please create a support ticket and provide admin login and FTP access so we can check into this. At this point, we believe this to be a 1.5-related issue. Thanks.

I have opened a ticket. When can this be resolved? I plan to launch by Wednesday.

For the record, this ticket and issue has been resolved. We have added a parameter allowing you to turn off the duplicate check function if you don\'t need it. Also, it now works better. The check is done and does not allow a new registration when that email address has already been used for that particular event.

We have posted a download with some fixed files for various bugs such as this one in 2.2.2:

These fixes will be included in the next official release, but in the meantime, please use these files if you are having any issues.
