As fall is approaching, we have some end of summer updates for all of you DT users! First, I'd like to announce a new DT Register 2.5.6 release!! This has a couple fixes but includes MANY new features and enhancements that you'll want to grab right away. You'll see that we've been listening to your feature requests ;) Here are some of the things we've done for you:
- Fixed pagination issue on the list of events
- Fixed event ordering function in the backend
- Fixed issue some users had regarding JEvents integration and new events showing up in DT Register
- Added two new Date formats that include the day name (Monday, Tuesday, etc)
- New Event COPY function!! Select an existing event in DT Register to copy, then select an available JEvents item and copy! You can of course still edit it, but no more do you have to recreate all of your specific details, fees, custom field selections, etc.
- New option to Show/Hide the Date where it is generally shown with the event title
- New option to Show Past Events
- New Publish/Unpublish function for all events and ability to filter your view to only see published or unpublished events
- New Start Date feature! Create the event but do not open registration until the date specified
- New Early Bird Discount!! Create a $ or % discount per event to give users a discount for registering BEFORE a given date.
- When selecting custom fields for your events, there is now a Select All function. Also, the fields are now listed by the unique database name instead of the label. Added a new option of "None" for the use of custom fields in group registration so can now use a field ONLY in individual registration if you'd like.
- Custom field fees now support % percentages! You can choose $ or % for each field.
- $0.00 (free) events now show the price as "FREE" in the list of events. This can be modified in the language file.
- Upcoming Events module updated and can now show past events
- EventLink plugin updated where a JEvents hack is no longer needed! The plugin buttons will automatically show inside of your JEvents details and look and function just like it does from your article pages.
- Updated Video Tutorials!
Other BIG changes are still in progress, but you can see we've been working hard for you to continue making DT Register the best event registration solution for Joomla!
DT MYSCRIPT PLUGIN
We have released a new plugin for DT Register which enables you to load your own php code that will be run after a successful registration. Need to tie your registrants into an affiliate program, newsletter, other database? Now you can!
DT ACAJOOM SUBCRIBER PLUGIN
We have released an updated version 1.1 of this new plugin which gives you the ability to specify which list(s) the registrant is subscribed to for your Acajoom newsletters!
