TOPIC: HTML/Javascript to embed on external sites

I know of someone who has developed his own bespoke event tickets script (not Joomla),he has created a wordpress plugin to show individual events on the creator's own website.

It would be great to have the ability to allow the event creator to publish their event details on their website by means of an HTML or Javascript code extract (similar to backlink images, but with the event id). This could either just show the event details or perhaps a little calendar if more than 1 event.

Just thinking ahead if 2.7 is going to allow front-end event creation, this would be useful to promote the event sites.
