There are definitely things I'd do differently if DTRegister had a few more options (praying 2.7 really kicks it up to the next level) but we managed to take a VERY complicated reg form and graft it to the web. Specifically the Aldersgate 2011 and Gate 2011 items. I'm not done with the Ald entries yet, but you can see the breakdowns-we made each item a NEW event and titled it as such.
Some things we ran into:
1. The youth admin wanted youth group leaders to NOT have to enter kids names, so we had to make a single reg setup with a pop-up that will have pricing for up to 75 youth.
2. We had to hard code early bird discounts in some entries because the discount wasn't applied to fee fields. This was okay because tshirts weren't supposed to be discounted...but pre-conference add-ons were, so we simply hard coded the discounts.
3. We actually have a discount for GROUPS of families. This is going to be the most insane group setup with massive extra fields for kids names. Wish me luck
