The emails are sent from the email address in the mail settings of the global configuration of Joomla... not from any admin user.
Item for wish list: Send emails from the admin email that is specified for a specific registration form so that when a registrant replies to their confirmation email, the message goes to the admin for that event.
This is especially important where the Super Admin for a site may not necessarily be an employee of the organization that owns the site.
Currently, you don't have to use the email from global configuration. You can specify a different email address in the DT Register configuration... but still it is used for all events. We'll consider adding an option per event.
I would strongly support this but only as an option. I currently handle entries for a number of different event organisers. Sometimes it is agreed I will handle requests for changes coming via return email. It would be nice to have option for return emails to go to the organiser instead.
