TOPIC: Unique record number

Hi, I would like to see a field that has a unique number automatically generated and emailed to the registrant. This would help in identifying entrants easily

This already exists as of version 2.4.2. There is a confirmation number that is generated on every record. It is stored in the backend records, included in the CSV export options, included in the admin notification email, and has an available data tag to include it in the user thank you email

now if only we could also get a barcode included to be used for scan-in at the event

It would be nice to have a way for the Admin to set the parameters for the Unique record number. For example, I want all participants in my event to receive unique record numbers between 001 and 350 or between 450 and 600.

Right now it seems the unique record number is randomly created by the program.

The background: we organize a photo competition, and participants get an actual marathon number -which is pre-printed- when they come to the event.

I would like that the unique record number matches the number they will wear during the marathon.
