We would like to use DT Register for our Paragliding club. As with many of the other requests in this forum, we would like the users that have already registered to be visible on the front page.

We have about 20 different sites that we fly at on a regular basis. We try and fly together as a club and encourage pilots not to fly alone. Thus, every week people start e-mailing and phoning around to find out who is flying where. It would be much nicer if you can go to our web-site and see \"Who is Flying Where\". Most of the sites are free to fly but increasingly they are changing to a pre-booking system. Thus, we would like to use DT Register for all the flying sites but would require a list of Attendees for each flying site to be visible to everyone before they register.

We looked at the Attend Events Joomla module that is suppose to give us the solution that we are looking for but are still having trouble. It seems they stopped developing on it.

Does anyone have an idea on when DT will have the List of Attendees available?

This is one of the next big items we plan on adding to DT Register. It could be done a couple of ways, so I thought here I\'d get some input from the peanut gallery :)

Option One:

Show the list of registrants below the registration form. Problems here would be the length of the page and also where to show it in the group registration process.

Option Two:

Split the display into two columns and have the registrant list show along the right side of the registration form. Problem here would be that many templates would not allow enough room for this.

Option Three:

Show list of registrants on a separate page. The list of events could include a link to view the registrants and a link could also show above the registration form.

Option Four:

Same as option three except show the list in a lightbox popup window (similar to the terms and conditions)

Option Five:

Show the list in a module. The module could have a dropdown selection where users could choose which event to show registrants from. Could have problems with amount of available width and also the length of the module.

Please give us your \"vote\" and comments on these options and we\'ll take them into consideration as we add this. Thanks.

Hi

Option three would be enough for our needs, we just need a seperate page showing list of registrants by event so that front end admin can see who has booked.

We currently do this by downloading the database and uploading it to a set page which is pretty time consuming and the list is not always up to date.

We would also need to choose which fields show in the list if this is possible.

Option 3 would be fine for us also, but it should only be available to logged-in, registered users. I like the separate module idea also. I wouldn\'t want a long list of attendees complicating the look of the page.

Holy cow! I thought this was already in the works with your new release?

I have been telling my future clients that for their next event that \"my software\" can do this! I will have over 500 attendees paying over $300 per registration. So I need to show them a registration product that is about 80% as powerful as Cvent.

Please do not reinvent the wheel. Simply mimic what the big boys are doing at CVENT and other multi million dollar players are doing. They have aleady did their research and work with meeting professionasl such as myself. You need a flexible option to where anybody can place that list in a page on their website via menu link \"see who\'s coming\". Utilize Joomla\'s page break function if people want to limit the list to X amount of names per page and ability to show whatever fields they want to display on the front end. Typically it is name, title, company, address, chapter affiliation, etc. (typically no email addresses). But let the backend-user decide what should show!!

The list should also have download feature in a PDF format.

Now get on it and do it! :silly: Just Kidding.. Thanks!! I have been watching from the sidelines on this important component and will be ready to use it soon.
