TOPIC: Geo-location

Having started a project with a combo j-event's and DT reg, I love that I can now drop jevents and use only 1 extension as most of this site will be for frontend users. The 1 feature I think I will be missing though is geo location " events in your area" that you can get with jevents.
Is there any plans to add this type of function?
