TOPIC: Private Event only visable to specific users?

I know I can set an event as Private to only show to users that are logged in.

But, is there any way to hide or password protect an event so that it's only available to certain users or even better only users with a password can register for it?

Is anything like this possible?

Setting an event as private does not affect who can SEE that registration link... it only requires that they be a logged in user to proceed to a registration form.

The control over who can SEE the event is by categories. You can set the access level of DT Register categories, which uses the Joomla access levels, so a user would have to be logged in AND associated with the set access level to get access to events from that category.
