Does anyone know how I can remove the DT Register "Registered Events" from the JS Toolbar and put it under the JS Events tab.

I cannot see the DT Register "Registered Events" in the JS Toolbar Menu in the back end.

Cheers

When JomSocial moved to version 2.X the tool bar was moved to the Joomla menu. IF you want to change things around, simply log into the back-end of your Joomla site, go to Menus > JomSocial Menu and make the changes there.

Here is a link to the documentation on JomSocial's site, on how to do this:

Thanks fuzzyminds...Really appreciate you taking the time to respond. I'm afraid it is not that simple though. The DTH Register JS Menu Item does not show in the backend. (I use the JS Toolbar to insert especial tabs.)

It must be a hard code somewhere and I am not a developer so have no idea where to look.

Another approach for you that we took - we opted to not use the JS Toolbar, and integrated the menu options into our Joomla menu structure, to avoid multiple navigation menus. A lot of people think about it, but don't follow through because it is not as easy to setup the JS notifications in a Joomla menu, but we managed to do it.

If you want to go down this road and are not familiar with how to create JS menu items in the Joomla main menu, let me know and I'll post the instructions.

I posted the way to move the notifications to the Joomla main menu in the JS website forum, answering another person's question on that.

Hi again,

I would be happy to see the instructions you mentioned below. I do prefer the JS tabs as our membership is not altogether IT savvy and the tabs right in front of them in the community works well.

Having said that though, I would be interested in your instructions just the same as they may contain ideas that I have not thought of.

BTW .... I will still need to remove the pesky one-off register of events tab that DTH register imposes.

Thanks again for your generosity in helping out.

Cheers
