TOPIC: Permissions still allow editing

Sorry if this is in here, but I've set 1 user's permissions to CSV export only. I've given access in the frontend to that user with a menu item of the DT Control Panel.

Most everything denies access except the the Events button and Records button. The user still can delete or edit the records there in those 2 areas. What am i missing?

I am trying to give certain users the ability to view the registrations for each event, but I do not want to allow them any editing capability.

I have just done a little testing of this scenario to verify... and what you want can work. Do this:

1) The user that you want to have CSV Export access only... make sure he is assigned ONLY to one user group... the group that has CSV permission.

2) For this user check permission boxes "Edit Own Items Only" and "CSV Export" only.

On the frontend, clicking Events WILL show the user a list of events that he/she is a moderator for... but clicking on them will have no function. They will get a not authorized warning if they try to manage the events.

If you still can't sort it out, submit a ticket so we can take a look. Let us know which menu item you are using... and what user has the CSV export access. We'll check out your setup. Thanks!
