Mine has been open for 10 days now, so frustrating. DT Register is a great product when it works when it doesn't support is down right awful. By me posting this, who knows maybe my ticket wont ever get answered.
I have continued to renew this product since 2010 on a sites and have had one off purchases (clients choice) and have supported this component doing so (over $400 so far) and I can't even get replies when requested.
I've had two tickets open for over two months with no resolution. I've been given bogus fixes and numerous excuses, but no resolution. I've been told my problems were site-specific and that no one else reported the same problems. Then I found posts in the forum complaining of the same problems.
Support is nonexistent. This is too bad because DT Register has a lot of potential, but it has more bugs than a Louisiana swamp. I can't upgrade to the latest release because each one fixes one bug and creates three more.
It really feels like the new owner took on too much here... My guess is he ended up with something with far more bugs in than he'd anticipated and is facing an impossible task to straighten things out and move forwards at the same time (although I think we'd all be quite happy with just the straightening out part)... Anyhow this theory is sad and it's very frustrating facing up to it as a multi-year DT Reg user and fan.... but we need to hear a lot more from the new owner to restore our confidence in the product's future....
