TOPIC: CSV Export Exporting Blank records

Hi,
Recently I had a switch in hosting service providers. They mirrored the existing site and migrated over to the new provider's server.

I had try to do an export, but the exported csv had blank data.
Could somebody please enlighten me what the possible problem could be and how to go about resolving it?

There were no issues when the site was with the old host.

Version of Joomla: 2.5.9
Version of DT Register: 2.7.16c
PHP Version: 5.3.24

Please advice urgently if there is some compatibility issues that is exporting blank data.

I am experiencing the same issue. I found other posts here that suggested it might somehow be related to GoDaddy's servers.

I have the exact same issue. Haven't gotten any response.

I have the same issue plus one more.

I only show so many fields on the back end and then it stops. It doesn't expand conditional fields and I have no idea what people have registered for.

It will allow me to register on the front end. When I do an individual on the back end it just shows so many fields and stops.

I tried CSV exporting, but nothing came out at all. Just a blank excel sheet.

This is frustrating because I think I everything else done and we are supposed to start testing tomorrow.

Pulling this from another forum post... but the reason for a blank CSV export file is 99% chance related to your configuration. The most likely source of the issue is the Joomla /tmp folder, which is needed for this function. Check and make sure:

- The configuration.php file has the correct location for your /tmp folder
- The /tmp folder must be writable

Sometimes someone will build their site in a temporary location and then when it's ready, they move it to the live directory. However, in that process, make sure you don't forget to update the configuration.php file as it has entries for /tmp and /logs. Make sure they are not still pointing to your temporary directory location.
