TOPIC: Repeating Event with Single Registration

I am trying to set up an event that happens at the same time every day for 5 days. It's a multi-day event, but there is only a single registration for it. In other words you register for a 5-day, repeating event. You can't (should not be able to) register for any of the days individually.

When I set this up, on the event registration panel, it shows up as multiple events, with only the first day having a registration link. The others are just there.

Is there a setting to have this kind of event just show up once on the event listing page?

I'm not sure if this is just a bug, a configuration setting, or just an error on my part.

OK - I have downloaded and completed the upgrade with the latest available version. The site is running Joomla 2.5.11 and DT Register is currently showing version 2.8.6a.

No dice on the fix...!

I'm still:
1) Showing multiple entries in the event listing page
2) Now tha the event is set as repeatable, I cannot change the repeat schedule. I also cannot change it back to a single instance.

That means I will now have to delete and then re-create the event from scratch.

Not good!

Yes you do. The issue is that you will need to create the event from scratch. Joomla CMS has some changes that affected repeating events and unfortunately you will have to recreate it. Give it a try and a let me know.

OK - I created a test event that repeats for 5 days from scratch.

It is still showing up on the event listing page as 5 separate event days with the first day of the event having a "register" button.

For clarity's sake, the page displaying this is from a menu item pointing to:

From there, select Resources --> Event Registration and you should be able to see the output. I'll leave that event up there for now.

What I was looking for was to have a multi-day event show as a single entry.
