Just because you are a super user doesn't mean you automatically have all permissions in DT Register. Go to DT Register -> Permissions and make sure that Super Users have permissions for everything... except do not check the first box "Edit own events only".

Also make sure that you user is assigned ONLY to Super Users and is not also assigned to other groups like Registered. I know that can mess up your permissions in DT.
