TOPIC: Warning: Invalid argument supplied

I've scoured previous posts but no success.

I get the following error on the upcoming events and mini cal module.

additionally I get a similar error on the jevents pages when an event is created and the eventlink plugin is published.

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in .../libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 383

any help appreciated
