TOPIC: Need Email Registrants Preview!

One of the very few weak areas of DT Register (as long as I can remember) is the lack of the ability to do a test send of email to registrants.

Today I sent an email to a group that wound up looking very different from how it looked in the editor. If a test send was possible like that available in email marketing software, adjustments could be made before sending to your group.

PLEASE consider adding this to the next version.

I am annoyed that no one has bothered to respond to my post. I've had continuous challenges with the email registrants feature of DT Reg.

The lack of a preview is driving me crazy and requires me to go to great lengths to make sure the email will arrive looking correctly.

Another related issue is the lack of ability to save an email to registrants (another major lacking feature). The inability to save a draft and go back to complete it is very frustrating as is the inability to use one mailing again for a duplicate event.

Lastly, I want to be able to change the default setting of email address and name. It keeps displaying a very old and outdated information in these fields.

As much as I've loved and supported DT Register over the past several years, these are considerable weaknesses that I feel need to be addressed!

I believe the default name/email settings are coming from your Global Configuration, try changing it there.

I have the same problem. And my FROM Email address is also not the same as in the global settings.

Do you know, how I can make all the Email adresses in "TO:" not visible to the recipients? Now when a registrant gets an Email, he can see the other Email receivers, too! Not good!
